We hope this newsletter finds you well and dancing into the month of February with enthusiasm! We have exciting updates and events to share, so let's dive right in.
**Summer Dance Camps: "Harmony in Motion" Collaboration with JSDA!**
Get ready for an extraordinary summer of dance as we collaborate with the James School of Dance (JSDA) located in McLean, VA! Our joint "Harmony in Motion" Summer Dance Camps will be hosted at both our studios, culminating in a spectacular showcase that combines the talents of both locations. From arts and crafts to a dazzling performance, this two-week camp experience is designed for ages 5 to 15. Secure your spot for just $850 for the entire camp. **Camp Variety: Something for Everyone!**
We're thrilled to offer a diverse range of camps for all ages and interests:
- **Musical Theater Camp:** Explore the magic of the stage, perfect for those who love the spotlight.
- **Hip-Hop & Jazz Camp:** Groove to the latest beats and learn the coolest dance moves.
- **Petite Hip-Hop & Jazz Camp:** Tailored for our youngest dancers, aged 3 to 5.
- **Petite Musical Theater Camp:** A week of theatrical fun designed for our Petite dancers.
**Camp Dates and Registration:**
- **Camps Start:** The week of June 17th through August 16th.
- **JSDA Collaboration Camp:** August 5th-9th and August 12th-16th.
**Camp Pricing:**
- Two-week camps for only $850.
- One-week camps for our Petite dancers at $450.
**Bring a Friend Week: Valentine's Day Special!**
In the spirit of love and dance, join us for "Bring a Friend Week" from February 12th to 17th! Share the joy of dance with your friends, play games, and dance to the love of dance with your dance buddies. It's a week filled with fun and friendship!
**Recital Costume Updates:**
We've charged families for recital costumes on February 1st, and we'll be finishing up measurements during class time this week. Our Spring Recital is themed around the vibrant eras of the 80s and 90s, inspired by the iconic dance moves and music of those decades. Save the date for our spectacular show on June 15th at the McLean Community Center Theater.
**Competition Team Auditions: Save the Date!**
Mark your calendars for May 18th at 3:00 PM – Competition Team Auditions! More details will follow, but we invite dancers aged 5 to 17 to audition for our esteemed competition team. Feel free to contact us with any questions. It's an exciting opportunity to showcase your passion for dance!
**Presidents Day Closure:**
Just a reminder, our studio will be closed on Presidents Day, February 19th, to celebrate the holiday. Enjoy the break, and we'll see you back in class on the following day.
